Beyond Borders
Integrated Creative Communications Strategy & Campaign
Maersk | Independent Concept
Global logistics is an intricate network of people, infrastructure, technology, and services. Communicating that complexity clearly to different audiences requires more than compelling visuals. It requires a cohesive communications strategy.
I developed Beyond Borders as an independent, conceptual campaign exploring how Maersk's global operations could be translated into a unified narrative across executive, operational, employee, and external communications.
My approach began with a central idea: One World. Connected. From there, I established the campaign's messaging architecture, audience-specific communication objectives, creative direction, and visual identity. Each deliverable was designed to serve a distinct purpose while reinforcing the same overarching story.
The result is a four-part, integrated campaign demonstrating how strategic thinking, creative leadership, and visual storytelling can work together to make complex information accessible, engaging, and consistent across channels.
01 / Executive Presentation
Translating Strategy Into Direction
The executive presentation establishes the campaign's strategic foundation, translating the idea of connected global commerce into a clear, leadership-oriented narrative. I developed a conceptual 24-month roadmap organized around four priorities: people and partnerships, infrastructure and transportation, technology and visibility, and integrated solutions. The phased structure was intentionally designed to communicate direction, relationships, and long-term objectives without overwhelming the audience with operational detail.
Through messaging development, information hierarchy, and executive-level design, I created a presentation that demonstrates how complex strategic concepts can become clear, actionable communications.

02 / Strategic Infographic
Making Complexity Understandable
The infographic translates the global logistics journey into an accessible, five-stage visual narrative, from origin and collection through final delivery.
Rather than presenting disconnected facts, I structured the information around a continuous journey, using a consistent illustration system, concise messaging, and a visual connection motif to guide the audience through each stage.
This asset demonstrates my approach to information architecture and visual communication strategy: identifying what an audience needs to understand, simplifying complexity without losing meaning, and developing an intuitive experience that supports comprehension.

03 / Employee Brand Film
Connecting People to Purpose
*voiceover thanks to the very talented Jeanette Garza
For the employee communications component, I shifted the narrative from global systems to the individuals who make those systems work.
I developed the concept, voiceover script, visual direction, and editorial approach for a short brand film built around the message Every Connection Counts. Through carefully sequenced footage, narration, and motion graphics, the film connects everyday contributions to a broader organizational purpose.
The strategic objective was to make an expansive global operation feel personal and relevant, demonstrating how internal communications can reinforce shared purpose, employee engagement, and organizational identity.

04 / LinkedIn Carousel
Extending the Story Beyond the Organization
The final component adapts the campaign's central narrative for an external professional audience through a four-slide LinkedIn carousel.
I developed a concise storytelling sequence that moves from a compelling opening statement to the interconnected nature of global logistics, the role of people, and the campaign's overarching message.
The creative direction balances bold editorial typography, industry photography, and consistent brand elements to establish recognition while maintaining readability in a social-first format.
This asset demonstrates how a unified communications strategy can be tailored to platform behavior, audience expectations, and channel-specific storytelling without compromising the broader campaign identity.
